Selecting an Institute?

After the qualifying gate exam, candidates won’t know what to do. Based on their GATE results, candidates who meet the requirements can be admitted to NITS, IIITS, IITs, and CFTIs. Therefore, in order to be admitted to any of these institutions, an applicant must meet the GATE cutoffs.

  • Candidates must take part in the CCMT counseling in order to be admitted to NITS, IIITs, and CFTIs. Candidates must first register, pay fees, and select NITs and IIITs based on their eligibility and preferences for this shared counseling.
  • Candidates must take part in GATE COAP in order to be admitted to IITs. In this case as well, candidates must first register and verify the seats they have been assigned. Candidates can then pay the institute’s fee to confirm a seat of their choice.
  • GATE-qualified applicants are also admitted to numerous public and private universities depending on their test results. Candidates can therefore select the university of their choice following the gate exam.
